Jess’s Place is a supportive, independent, transitional housing program for women in recovery from addiction. We provide a safe, supportive living environment that is free of drugs and alcohol. Jess’s Place is for women 18+ in recovery and in need of short-term housing. Up to three women share a house, live independently, and care for their own needs. Residents are encouraged to continue participating in the community programs that will enhance their return to society as productive members.

We accept self-referrals or referrals from others including health care providers, family counselling agencies, government departments, correctional supervision programs, court programs, agencies that provide services to women or family and friends of women needing housing assistance.

Naomi Centre is an emergency shelter that offers safe and supportive temporary housing for women aged 16-30 within a harm reduction model. Our staff provide supportive counselling services and support is also provided to former residents of Naomi Centre.

Support is available to women experiencing domestic violence. If you would like help with safety planning, or just to talk, there are women’s centres in nine regions of the province. You can contact the one nearest you. If you are ready to leave a situation of domestic violence, there are Transition Houses all across the province who provide shelter to women and children fleeing violence.
