HealthLine is a free, confidential, 24 hour telephone line, staffed by experienced registered nurses in our province who can offer health advice, information and connect you to resources and local services. We are always there for you at 811.
Jess’s Place is a supportive, independent, transitional housing program for women in recovery from addiction. We provide a safe, supportive living environment that is free of drugs and alcohol. Jess’s Place is for women 18+ in recovery and in need of short-term housing. Up to three women share a house, live independently, and care for their own needs. Residents are encouraged to continue participating in the community programs that will enhance their return to society as productive members.
We accept self-referrals or referrals from others including health care providers, family counselling agencies, government departments, correctional supervision programs, court programs, agencies that provide services to women or family and friends of women needing housing assistance.
Provides women-centered services, including housing and suportive programs in a women-centered environment.
Naomi Centre is an emergency shelter that offers safe and supportive temporary housing for women aged 16-30 within a harm reduction model. Our staff provide supportive counselling services and support is also provided to former residents of Naomi Centre.
We accept self-referrals or referrals from others including health care providers, family counselling agencies, government departments, or family and friends of individuals needing emergency housing.
Assists individuals in reducing the risks related to substance use, and provides support, education and referrals required to enhance personal health
Provides services to adults who face barriers from fully participating in the community, such as mental health challenges, lack of education, long periods of unemployment and poverty. Offers residential, community and correctional-based counselling, supportive housing, and employment preparation and skills development.
Offers a financial supplement to individuals for individuals with a psychiatric diaganosis living in supportive relative and non-relative board & lodging arrangements.
Service centre committed to building community, promoting equality and providing nourishment for those seeking respite from isolation and loneliness.
Provides a variety of residential and support services to children and youth ages 8-18 who are involved with Child, Youth and Family Services or Youth Corrections
